This week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog. The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion.
1.Grey, smooth, hard.
2.metal bars being scratched daily.
3.shared mainly bye three objects.
4.up in the air.
5.injuries bye serious risks.
6.very popular.

ReplyDeleteI think that the way you described your six words/sentences was really quite good. One thing that you could think about is how easy some of the things you wrote are to guess because for me this line 'Red and Yellow mainly' was quite a big giveaway so next time you could try and be a little bit more subtle. I also think that the way you explained at the start why you were doing this and what you would like the people who comment to include things made it a lot easier, thank you. My conclusion is that the second one is McDonald's and the first one could be an aero plane, the things that helped me are the line I pointed out earlier and 'Grey, Smooth and hard'.
