2 Weeks ago we had our annual athletics day were we will go around and complete different activities.
We are separated by year groups and in the final house relays we have our own different groups.
Activity:
Long jump
it is pretty obvious of what you have to do but just incase.
There is a mat with different colors a sand pit and you self.
You star by sprinting down a track and jump of the mat whenever your ready and the teacher will measure from there.
Activity:
Shot put
Shot put a sport all about strength.
You hold a ball made of stone but the weight and size can be different.
You step up to the line and get ready by holding the ball up to your neck or your cheek.
The number one rule is to push the ball out and not to throw it that is why it is for strength
Activity:
Sprints
Everyone knows what this is it is usually 100 meters of pure sprints but our school only has 75.
It is obvious you stand up to the line, you hear a clap and away you go!
Activity:
High Jump!
This one is my favorite
This sport includes a foam mat other cushions and a bar.
you have some running space and jump up and over the bar.
