Sporting heroes!
This is Raymond Warner.
Raymond Warner is my sporting hero because he was the one who inspired me to start scooter tricks.
He is sponsored by Envy Blunt Scooters.
He is also part of their riding team.
Raymond Warner has been part of Nitro Circus.
Raymond Warner made up the world famous trick called the Buttercup.
He has been riding for 9 and a half years.
I have a Envy scooter.
Hey Sam,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. It is awesome to see a flurry of activity on your blog today. It seems quiet without you posting.
I have loved learning about your sporting hero, Raymond Warner. He seems like a very successful 26 year old. If Raymond started riding at 16 years old then you have a good chance of riding at his level in a few years. How long have you been riding for? What is your favourite trick to do?
Wow, I just watched Raymond doing his famous buttercup trick and he is amazing. I am not surprised that he inspires you. I wonder how many attempts it took him to master that trick.
Thank you for sharing a new sport-star with me. I have found it extremely interesting learning about Raymond. Keep riding and stay focused. You may end up on the Nitro Circus team one day as well.
Have a lovely day,
Megan :)
Hi Megan,
ReplyDeleteYes we are on our family holiday at the moment and have limited internet access so my mum is helping me post these when we can.
Did you know Raymond's least favourite trick is actually the buttercup?
I have been riding for about 6 years but only started learning tricks half way through last year. My favourite trick that I can actually land is a barspin. I am trying to land a tailwhip, and I am spending lots of time practising. I have shared a video of that trick on one of my other blog posts.
That would be exciting if I made it onto the Nitro Circus team one day.
