Week 4 Day 4 Activity 2 - Contemporary Entertainment - Country Calendar
Hey guys this blog post about why I wouldn't be a farmer when I grow up.
A Reason Why I wouldn't be a farmer Is because I don't think that I would have the perseverance to do lots of the tasks.
A challenging thing would be that you would have to be in charge and responsible for a lot of things and I don't like to be busy all the time I like to also have some chill time and I wouldn't be able to concentrate with all the things that I had to watch out for.
Would you guys like to be a farmer?

Kia ora Sam,
ReplyDeleteThat photo you have shared is hilarious and I think it is very accurate as to what life must be like as a farmer. You are right, being a farmer must take a lot of perseverance and hard work. You are up ridiculously early in the morning and work long hours. It would be very difficult for your family to have time off to go to Mahia. However, farming does have a number of positives as well. Can you think of anything that would be fun about living on a farm?
When I visit my best friend, whose partner is a farmer I am always amazed at the peacefulness of farm life. We would sit outside with our morning coffee on a crisp morning, while the kids run around with the lambs, dogs, and rabbits. My son has the chance to ride on a motorbike and feed the calves. It is also a beautiful time when we visit the farm. Does this sound appealing to you?
This is the last day of the Summer Learning Journey Sam. I have loved reading all your work but am sad to see the programme ending. You still have plenty of time to comment on other students work.
I hope you have a wonderful day,
Megan :)
Hi Megan, Yes I think that I would love to go round on a motorbike and feed Calves and in fact Mahia is mostly farming land!
ReplyDeletewhere we are staying [at my Nan's house] is farm land, there are lots of Cows Calves and Bulls.
There is also a few Horses but we have to stay away because most of them are parents with children and it is also breeding season for the Horses. Thanks for the comment Megan. p.s. its my birthday next Wednesday. That's why we are down here, to celebrate my birthday at the beach before I head back to school on the 7th Feb.
Happy birthday Sam!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I didn't see this comment earlier. I hope you had an absolutely amazing birthday in Mahia. What kind of activities did you get up to yesterday? I'd love to hear about your day.
Wow, everytime you talk about your Nan's house the stories seems to get better and better. A house on the beach side, which is surrounded by animals, and farm land. That is the complete opposite to life in Auckland. That sounds so peaceful and beautiful. Maybe one day i'll have the opportunity to visit Mahia. Maybe you could share some photos of the beach on you blog.
Thank you for all your incredible work over the summer. I am just making my way through everyone's posts and tallying up all the points. I am looking forward to coming back in to Waikowhai Primary School with all the certificates and prizes.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday,
Megan :)
