Today I will be comparing fashion from now (2017) with fashion from the 1940's.

What do you think? I don't think these clothes match at all to what we wear today. There are different colours and the different looks. Back in the 1940s everything was simple and fancy and now things have different shapes and sizes plus different colors and screen prints.
in 65 years from now I think that most people will be wearing something like an iron man suit what would you think people will be wearing in 65 years from now.

I agree fashion did seem simple yet fancy back in the 1940s. We do have so much more variety now with colours, patterns, and even labels including merchandise of famous people such as actors, movies and music.
ReplyDeleteI could imagine people wearing robotic suits and being able to fly around in the next 65 years. But also people wearing clothes from recycled materials such as plastic etc.

ReplyDeleteI really like how you shared a photo of the type of clothing you are comparing. In this photo the girls look so elegant and the boys so smart. I feel this photo might have been taken on a special occasion as I doubt they wore those beautiful dresses and suits all the time. Do you think you would like to wear suits like the boys? I wouldn't mind wearing the dresses that these girls are wearing as they are so beautiful. However, I do love how today we have so much freedom and a variety of styles to choice from.
It is hard to imagine what we will be wearing in 65 years time but I like your idea about ironman suits. That would be awesome. I think we will be printing our clothes from 3D printers and wearing digital glasses and hologram watches.
