Today's posts I had to chose a famous Cathedral and share some facts about it. I have chosen Notre Dame Cathedral.
Firstly I would like to share why I chose this one. I have learnt lots about France, and would like to travel there one day. This is one place I would like to visit while I am there.
Notre Dame is located in Paris, France. 1160 they made the decision to build Notre Dame. 3 years later they started building in 1163. It took almost 200 years to complete.

What made you choose this cathedral?
It's incredible that it took 200 years to complete. Why do you think it so long?

I chose this cathedral because it it one that I would like to visit when I'm older. I think it took that long because materials and people weren't as available as they are now.

This is incredible that it took over 200 years to build, that is something I didn't know about Notre Dame Cathedral. It is certainly a spectacular piece of architect.
