  1. Dad and I were very proud of you when you stood up in front of all your school and presented your pepeha. That took alot of courage.

I love this photo of Maungakahia. The view is even more spectacular from the top. Maybe we can climb it again on our holiday. See how the view may have changed since we were up there last Christmas.

  2. Morena Sam,

Wow, what a fantastic pepeha you have created and shared with us. It sounds like you have a strong connection with the land around Mahia. Is this where your family originates from? I am very impressed with your pepeha, did you have help putting this together? A pepeha is such an incredible way to share your whakapapa and make connections with people. Keep this close to your heart and share this special pepeha often. As you have shared so much detail about your whanau and origins I ould love to share mine with you as well.

    Ko Ruapehu te maunga,
    Ko Taupo-nui-a-tia te moana,
    Ko Waikato te awa,
    Ko Tutahi Tonu toku marae,
    Ko Lafferty toku iwi,
    No Ingarangi ahau,
    Ko Megan toku ingoa.

    Have a lovely day Sam,
    Megan
