Did you know the Commonwealth Games started in Canada in 1930?
In 1966 a man called Bill Kini won a Gold Medal for being the best Heavyweight Boxer at the Commonwealth Games. I am now imagining I was a news reporter doing an interview with Bill Kini.
These are the questions I would like to ask him:
1. When did you start boxing and Why?
2. What was your first award you received for boxing?
3. If you hadn't started boxing what would you be participating in?
4. If you could give advice to someone wanting to start boxing what would you say to them?
Hope you like my questions. Would you have asked something different?

Hey again Sam, thanks for writing four questions that you would ask Bill Kini during an interview. I really like your final question about giving advice to someone wanting to start boxing. It would be interesting to hear what he would say. What do you think his answer would be?
ReplyDeleteHe would probably talk about training heaps. I think there would be a high level of dedication to make it in this sport.
Thanks, Billy
Great questions Sam, especially the about what advice he would give someone wanting to do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteThinking about what I would ask, would have been maybe:
How many hours training a day/week do you have to do?
Is there any special diet you need to eat?
Who is your inspiration?
Same as you what advice would you give someone looking at the same career path?
I can see a future in reporting/interviewing for you Sam.
