trench diary

We were making a diary of what it was like in World War! I didn't get much done because I didnt really know what it was like in the war.
     
 WALT describe using our senses

Huge rats were every some were even the size of cats.bombs exploding everywhere.

I can here There was noise everywhere and we couldn't get away from it guns grenades  bombs every thing .

I can taste the plant dust the dry biscuits. Dust and dirt

I can smell smoke everywhere and the smell of  gunpowder.

I can feel the soggy wet ground on the floor of our trenches it is a lot worse in winter sometimes the trenches flood!

I feel  fear and want to go back to New Zealand where home is.

    Love your imagination and descriptions of what you think the solider could smell, see, hear etc.
