Week 1 Day 1 Bonus Activity - Arriving In New Zealand - Waka Ama

Hello, for the ones who don't know who I am, my name is Sam and I am a student from Waikowhai Primary.

Our school senior syndicate has been invited to take part in an activity called the Summer Learning Journey. This activity was created to encourage us to keep learning over the school holidays.

My first activity I am completing is one about Waka Ama and writing about whether I would or wouldn't compete in a Waka Ama race one day.

I don't think I would like to be in a Waka Ama race as I have a fear of water and I don't think that I would have had enough energy to complete a race. As it appears it takes alot of energy and concentration.
