Activity one Fantastic beasts

Beast, Beast and BEASTS!
This is a beast that I created!
Her name is toast and she is a Carnotaurus Inspired by the gaming beaver!

He is like a almond red with patches of brown and black.
He has the smell of butter and his skin is rough and is spiky.
If you had a beast what would it be like?
Comment below and see you later!

  1. Hi Sam,

I remember when you created this beast. I love how you have been able to use it as part of your Summer Learning Journey. If I was to create a beast, I would probably go with more of a water based beast. Something like an orca (killer whale) I find them very fascinating. They are very smart animals but also so majestic.

Does your beast make any sort of sound??

  2. Aloha Samuel,

I really like that you have put in an effort to create a drawing of your beast for your readers to see. Does your beast have a name? He resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex, did the ancient dinosaur inspire you?

Perhaps next time you could add details to describe what he sounds like. Does he have a high pitched voice? Or a deep voice like an Arctic Wolf? You have used some adjectives to describe the colour of your beast, ka pai!

I love the movie 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them', have you seen it? One of my favourite creatures from the film was Newt's Bowtruckle, Its tiny green twig like body, leafy head and little brown eyes were quite adorable!

    Keep up the good work.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  3. Hello Samuel,
I really like your effort and drawing skills that you have put into this picture of your beast. I personally like how it has spiky skin and smells like butter, so bizarre. I have a beast on my blog that you might like to see, so check out my blog below. Next time you can make a big piece of writing describing all of the details of it.

  4. Hi Samuel,
Well done on completing this Summer Learning Journey activity. I really like the drawing that you created of your beast. It looks great! I can see that you put a lot of effort into it. How long did it take you to make it? Keep up the good work.

  5. Hi!
It did take me around 2 weeks but that was probably because I kept adding things and taking them away until it was right.
