What are three different things to fund raise for the great barrier reef?

Some other ideas is running a raffle for a guided tour of the Great Barrier Reef. Having sponsors donate prizes to be auctioned off during a silent auction.

ReplyDeleteThose are some great fundraising methods to help the coral reef stay in tact. Well done for coming up with creative methods.
I really like the first one as it is very fun and at the same time extremely helpful to get money. I would absolutely go to this party and play all the games to try and get as much money to the great barrier reef as possible. A biscuit stand is also a great way to get some food and protect the plants in water.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you know a thing or two about fundraising. Have you been involved in fundraising efforts before? These are three really great ideas. I think you could raise a lot of many running these three events. Maybe with your efforts with the biscuit stand, you could get your whole school involved. So every family from your school bakes something sweet and donate the funds to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. This would definitely raise a lot more funds for the Great Barrier Reef.
I am so extremely saddened that the Great Barrier Reef is dying. I am a diver and have not yet experienced the amazing colours of this magnificent reef. One of my dreams is to plan a trip to the reef to go diving before all the coral loses it colour.
The Great Barrier Reef Foundation has suggested some more fundraising ideas on their website. Have a look. Maybe you could take this back to your school and recommend an event. Who knows, maybe you could help organise it, what do you think?
