Activity 2 it's all in the name

Hello!
Devils bath!
Do you think this wonder should be called that?
I think it should be called the Prehistoric stew!
But I don't know how old it is so I think it could be called the *Devil fingers stew!*
Also Devils portal would be cool.
I chose This because we use to have this plant called the devils horn and it smells like rotting meat and attracts the flies.

Would you call the gross bath?

  1. Great names, I like the Devils Fingers Stew. It certainly matches the plant you named it after.

  2. Kia Ora Sam,

You have been very creative with your new name suggestions for Devil's Bath; 'Prehistoric Stew' and 'Devil Fingers Stew'. I like the ideas behind them, thanks for sharing a bit of background on the Deli's Horn plant, I like the vivid and close up shot.

A friendly reminder; to earn full points for this activity you are to come up with at least three new name suggestions for Devil's Bath. You will receive full points once you have done this. :)

I'd probably go for something like 'Emerald Stench' because of the green colour and obviously the supposed smell. I am curious about what it smells like, I'll probably visit Devil's Bath to get a whiff one day, just to see if it lives up to its name and reputation. What do you think causes the smell?

    Keep persevering and working hard.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  3. Hi Samuel,
Well done on finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity. I think that you have done a great job coming up with names for the geothermal pool in Rotorua. I'm not totally sure if you can go into the geothermal pool but if you can, would you? Keep up the good work.

    1. Hi
If I could I probably wouldn't because I don't know what it can do to me.
      Thanks for the comment.
