Week 2 Day 2 Bonus Activity - The Roaring 20's - Crossing the Tasman

Poet!

This blog is going describe how I would have felt on the Southern Cross as it landed safely after the first Trans-Tasman flight, in the form of a poem

Sucsess
Overwhelmed
Uplifted
Traveller
Happy
Excited
Rewarded
Never again

Cheering
Relieved
Overjoyed
Safe
Shaking

I hope you liked my poem, comment below with how you think you would have felt.  Follow for more daily blogs!

  1. You have used some great words describing different feelings and emotions. I agree with some of these feelings, I would have felt rewarded for being part of a history making event. Terrified after being up in the plane as I have a fear of heights. Definitely would have felt relieved being back on the ground.

Imagine what the views would have been when you were up in the air. What do you think you would have seen?

  2. Hi there Samuel, thanks for sharing this acrostic poem you have written. It's great to see that you were able to find an appropriate word for every letter. Usually I struggled with a couple of letters and end up putting in words that are totally unrelated to the topic.

I like how you've started with S for Success. Which letter did you struggle with the most?

Do you often write acrostic poems? You're very talented.

What other kinds of poems do you like?

    Thanks, Billy
