Week 3 Day 3 Activity 1 - Groovy Man - Ready to Roll

Hello!

I will be judging some songs that have been performed on the show ready to roll.

#3 My least favorite was the Ray Columbus and the Invaders I don't like this song very much because
of the music because it seemed so simple and boring I wish they put like a little dance or more pattern to the music.
#2New Zealand Underdogs I didn't this song much ether. This one in my opinion
Just wasn't my type of song. Was it yours?
#1 I like this song it is called the Golden Harvest. I like this song because of the happy feel to it.
It makes me wanna just dance! Does it make you dance?

Do you like these three song what would you give them a rating of?

  1. Hey Sam,

I found your rating really interesting. You have done an excellent job explaining why you rated them the way you did. I actually found the Ray Columbus and the Invaders the most entertaining, especially when the guitarist in the background starting dancing. Did you notice him at the beginning of the song? The Golden Harvest definitely had me dancing in my seat, so I would rate this 2nd in my list. I enjoyed observing all their fashion in these music clips, especially their hair. Did you notice anything in their videos that you might not see in music videos today?

I look forward to hearing your response. Remember to comment on other students activities s that we can encourage them to participate in the Summer Learning Journey. You are doing an amazing job Sam, I have enjoyed watching your journey.

    Have a lovely day,
    Megan

    1. Hi Megan, I have had trouble finding other students blogs that are also doing the Summer Learning Journey. Is there somewhere I can go to find them?
      Thanks

    2. Hey Sam,

Yes, there sure is. I am sorry that I didn't share this with you earlier. Below is a link to a twitter feed where you will see all 6 clusters from around New Zealand. We are part of the Ako Hiko cluster so you can see the most recent posts from students in the Mt Roskill area. The students from the Manaiakalani cluster have been doing the Summer Learning Journey for 5 programmes now so some of their posts are extraordinary. It is worth taking a look.

I hope you have fun exploring other students blogs.

      Have a good day,
      Megan :)
