- He is an author of a number of books.
- He has received many honours and awards such as The Order of New Zealand - which is New Zealand’s highest honour.
- He held the post of New Zealand Ambassador to the United States from 2010 to 2015

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting man you have chosen to talk about. What inspired you to choice Mike Moore? I am amazed that he has received The Order of New Zealand. Do you know what he received this award for? What I find interesting about this inspiring man, is that he was the first youth representative of the Labour Party. Does Mike Moore inspire you Sam? I would love to hear what you think?
I really like how you have included a picture of Mike Moore with the Former President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. This would be an incredible opportunity, Barack has been a man I have always looked up to and would love to meet one day. Who would be a person you would love to meet?

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why I chose to Mike Moore to blog about. I also can not find anywhere what he received the Order of New Zealand for. He had a career of over 25 years in New Zealand Politics, so possibly something to do with that.
Yes he does inspire me as he is someone who started his career at a young age, and over his career he achieved so much.
There is lots of people I would like to meet, my favourite band 21 Pilots, my scootering idols Raymond Warner, and Dakota Schuetz, to name a few.
