My favourite fact is they don't fly, but they glide because it is very important that people get this message. Some people may think they can fly across the ocean, but this is not the case. I also have done the flying snake, so you ca visit my blog down below and have a loot. I can't believe they can grow 4 feet long!

What an awesome DLO you have put together for this activity. I was amazed to learn that these flying snakes can glide up to 100 metres from branch to branch. That is almost as though they are flying isn't it? Did you read what the name of this snake is? Maybe you could go back and share this fact in your post.
I am so glad that this snake is not found in New Zealand. Could you imagine walking through one of our beautiful forest and seeing these venomous snakes gliding around.
I am looking forward to learning about the name of the snake.
Hi Samuel, Well done on finishing this activity. Your DLO on flying snakes is great. I had no idea that there were any types of snakes that could fly/glide. Would you want to keep one as a pet? I would, although you would have to keep it locked up tight so it won't escape. Keep up the good work.

I love how I am also learning on this journey with you. I had heard of 'flying snakes' had no idea they could glide up to 100 metres. I am also glad we don't have these in New Zealand. These are one species of animals I do not like. So no I would not choose to have one as a pet. If you had one as a pet what would you name it?
