  1. Kia Ora Samuel,
WOW, those are really hot looking temperatures! I really think you should do this graph often to see which is the most hottest country on Earth!

I can't believe Dash e loot got up to 71 degrees! It seems like impossible work to try and stay cold. I definitely would not like to go to those countries because I can barely last 1 minute in 30 degrees! Not even in Dallol...

What country would you go to if you had to choose out of these 5?

  2. Kia ora Sam,

Awesome work on putting together a graph displaying the hottest cities in the world. Could you imagine the temperature reaching 71 degrees Celsius. I cannot even begin to imagine. Do you think any plants, animals, or humans would be able to live in this kind of heat? What would the land look like?

How did you make your graph? Did you know, that in google sheets there is a way you can create a graph. All you have to do is add a column with the name on the city and then in the column next to it, you write the temperature. Go to 'Insert' and then scroll down to 'Chart'. Watch how this function automatically creates a graph. Go and check it out and let me know whether you like this function.

Remember to insert the temperatures on the left hand side (Y-axis) so that visitors know what you are measuring.

    Well done,
    Megan :)

  3. Hi Samuel,
Well done on finishing this activity. You did a great job creating a graph showing some of the hottest places in the world. I can't believe that Dasht-e-Lut can get that hot. 71 degrees celsius sound like it would burn your skin instantly. Keep up the good work.

  4. Hi Samuel!
I like your graph that you made of the hottest Temperatures in other countries. When was the last time it was the hottest for you? For me it would be when we went to my Aunties house.

  5. Hi Sam,

It is interesting to see this information in graph form. I am not sure I could handle living somewhere that gets that hot. Do you remember when we were in Mahia a couple of weeks ago and we had a few days when it was 32 degrees. It was so hot we couldnt do anything, not even go down to the water. These other cities you have shown are experiencing twice that amount. How do you think they stay cool in those high temperatures?

    1. Hi
I think they would have to like close up everything and have a couple of air cons with iced drinks.
